About
A fictional brand, built to learn
My Health Start is a university education project. It imagines what a warm, honest, easy-to-use Canadian virtual-care experience could look like.
Project context
Fictional Company: My Health Start is a university education project. This website is for demonstration purposes only and does not provide real medical advice, diagnoses, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency care.
The site was created to practise web design, accessibility, and responsible handling of health-related content. No real clinicians, companies, partners, accreditations, testimonials or clinical results are represented.
Our imagined story
The idea behind My Health Start is simple: starting a health journey should feel welcoming, not overwhelming. In this fictional story, the founders wanted clear language, honest expectations and follow-up that does not disappear after the first visit.
The brand’s three imagined programs (Weight Loss, Longevity and HRT) are used to explore how different kinds of health content can be presented responsibly, without guaranteed outcomes or pressure.
Our design principles: plain language, accessible by default, no unsupported claims, and clear labelling of everything that is simulated.
